Coletanche is the most durable liner on the market, and it lasts for years even when left exposed to UV rays. As an effective barrier, our liner is highly resistant to biological agents such as microbial action, micro-organisms or bacteria, and has a layer specifically designed to protect from penetration by tree roots or rodents. Coletanche also protects the environment by preventing rainwater runoff from carrying pollutants into surrounding soil.

Coletanche is made of a very robust material, and does not require sand protection layers, thereby creating a cost savings when aggregate sources are scarce.

Coletanche is often used to protect stored industrial or municipal waste (chromates, potash, sulphur, MSW), to cover tips, and even to contain low activity nuclear waste.
